Petition hits 2000. Is taken down but reinstated.

12/10/2025 - Our petition hit 2000 signatures. It was also strangely reported to Change.org for not complying with their Community Guidelines and taken down. A few days and the Petition reinstated.

On December 10, 2025, our community’s voice roared louder than ever as our petition to stop the Woodland Hills Country Club development surpassed 2,000 signatures. But this milestone came with a bizarre twist: our petition was abruptly flagged and taken down from Change.org for supposedly violating community guidelines. For a few tense days, our primary tool for organizing was silenced. However, after contacting Change.org, the petition has since been reinstated, stronger than before.

This temporary setback only fuels our determination. Public comments are being sent in alongside the signatures. You can go to Change.org and read through these insightful notes from the neighbors..

Residents remain steadfast in their opposition, citing the extreme danger of adding density to a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone with already bottlenecked evacuation routes. We are fighting to protect our canyon’s quiet charm, our local wildlife, and our aging infrastructure from being overwhelmed. Most importantly, we stand united against the developer’s cynical use of AB 2011 to fast-track this project, a move that attempts to sidestep essential environmental reviews and shut out community input.
