Hello. We are neighbors trying to get information out to other neighbors about the proposal to fast track the 4868 Canoga Ave project under AB 2011.
This site is still under construction. We do have pressing information to share.
1. Sign up for our mailing list
GoogleForm - sign up for Woodland Hills Neighborhood Collective
or send an email with REQUEST ADD in subject line to : neighborhoodalert.4868canoga@gmail.com
Note: Check your spam filters!! Make sure you aren’t filtering the neighborhood alert email address.
2. Donate to our fund at https://givebutter.com/whnc
No fees required, but you do need to OPT out of optional tips or fees. We have established a tax exempt nonprofit with 501(c)(4) status (IRS).
Note: A 501(c)(4) is not a 501(c)(3) - you will not be able to write off your donation. There are other positives to being a 501(c)(4) and this was a choice carefully considered. The IRS itself is best to explain the difference between the two, can pick that up starting here: https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/other-non-profits/social-welfare-organizations
Do speak with an accountant if you have additional questions.
